เริ่มมีผลทดสอบ Intel Core Ultra ออกมาแล้ว และเท่าที่ดูเมื่อเทียบกับ Gen 14 แบบกว้างๆ คือ ประสิทธิภาพต่ำกว่า มีปัญหาเรื่องการวาดเฟรมบางอย่าง กินไฟต่ำกว่า ร้อนกว่า(งง) ที่สำคัญ แพงกว่าเดิมมาก

เมื่อวานดูที่ช่อง ihavecpu เค้าลอง U9 vs i9 gen 14th
เรื่องความร้อน U9 น้อยกว่า i9 ประมาณ 10-20c
U9 กินไฟน้อยกว่าประมาณ 50-60 watts
ด้านความเร็ว U9 คะแนน single core แพ้ i9 คงเพราะ GHz มันน้อยกว่า แต่พอ multiple core ไม่มี HT แล้วชนะเฉยแบบงงๆ
พอมาทดสอบ ด้านเกม fps ฝั่ง U9 แย่กว่า i9 ประมาณนึง (5-10 fps)
พอมาทำพวกงาน render ตัว U9 กลับทำงานเร็วกว่า พอสังเกตจะเห็นว่าเวลามันทำงาน multiple core ฝั่ง U9 ความเร็วมันวิ่ง 4.7-4.8GHz ตลอดนิ่งๆ แต่มาฝั่ง i9 กลับวิ่ง 4.6GHz เลยทำให้มันทำงานช้ากว่า แม้จะ boost ได้เยอะกว่า
ส่วนราคา U9 แพงกว่า 1,000 บาท

ผมกำลังจะทำ ss จากวิดีโอเปรียบเทียบตอนเล่นเกมที่ผมดูมาให้ ตอนนี้วิดีโอที่ผมดูเมื่อวานหายไปแบบไร้ร่องรอยจากยูทูบ
ผมเห็นว่า temp ของ core ultra 9 285k vs 14900k ของ u9 ร้อนกว่าอยู่ 4 - 10 องศา
ลองหาจาก watch history ก็หายไปเลย

Speculative Part ของผมเอง
เป็นไปได้ว่า การโอนงานไป E-core ของ Core Ultra อาจจะไม่เก่งมากอย่างที่เราคิด อย่างน้อยก็ตอนเล่นเกมที่ IPC ไม่ค่อยเติมเต็มเท่างานพวก Compiling หรือ Rendering ซึ่งก็ถือว่า Intel ทำได้อย่างที่เคลม... ในบางงานเท่านั้น
