หกสัปดาห์หลัง Chrome 8 กูเกิลก็ปรับรุ่นเป็น Chrome 9 ตามสัญญา เลขเวอร์ชันของรุ่นนี้คือ 9.0.597.84

ฟีเจอร์ในรุ่นนี้คือฟีเจอร์จาก Chrome Beta Channel ที่หลายคนอาจใช้งานกันอยู่แล้ว ได้แก่

  • Google Instant
  • Chrome Web Store
  • WebGL
  • แก้ปัญหาเล็กๆ น้อยๆ อีกหลายจุด โดยเฉพาะบั๊กด้านความปลอดภัยที่เกี่ยวกับ audio ซึ่งชุมชน Reddit ค้นพบและช่วยกันแก้จนสำเร็จ

ผมอยากรู้มานานแล้ว

ทำไมในหน้าดาวน์โหลดของ Chrome ถึงไม่มีการแสดงเลขเวอร์ชันให้เห็น
หรือว่ามีให้ดูตรงจุดไหนแล้วผมไม่เห็นครับ

ก็เห็นชัดอยู่นะครับ ถึงจะไม่เห็นเลข Build แต่ Major กับ Minor ก็ชัดเจนมากนะครับ

ส่วนของ Chrome นี่ไม่รู้เลยว่าตัวไหน จน Install เสร็จแล้วก็ต้องมาดูที่ "About Google Chrome" เอา

เข้าใจว่ากุเกิลไม่อยากบอกเลขเวอร์ชันให้ end-user เห็นครับ
เพราะในมุมของ end-user ที่ไม่เกี่ยวกับ it แล้ว (การใช้ browser เข้าเว็บอ่านข่าวไม่ต้องรู้เกี่ยวกับ it เลยซักนิดห็ได้)
การมีเลขเวอร์ชันกำกับไว้คงไม่สำคัญเท่าไหร่ครับ

Chrome 8 ใช้ภาษาไทยอยู่
พอเข้าไปที่ เกี่ยวกับ google chrome อัพเดทเป็น Chrome 9 กลายเป็นภาษาอังกฤษเฉยเลย
สงสัย google ยังคัดภาษาไทยไม่เสร็จ :P

นึกว่าเป็นแต่ผมคนเดียวแฮะ ยิ่งใช้กับ squid proxy ยิ่งไปกันใหญ่ บางครั้งต้องไปลบแคชทิ้งเสียก่อนถึงจะใช้งานได้
โดยเฉพาะ facebook, windowslive มีปัญหาทุกที แต่ถ้าวิ่งตรงๆ จะไม่มีปัญหา เฮ้อ เลยต้องเอาออกจากทุกเครื่องไปก่อน เพราะขืนวิ่งตรงๆ กันทุกเครื่องมีหวังทำงานอย่างอื่นไม่ไหว

ผมใช้ beta อยู่ อยากกลับไปใช้ stable นี่ต้องทำยังไงครับ

หรือพอกดอัพเดทครั้งนี้มันกลายเป็น stable ให้เอง เพราะเวอร์ชั่นของผมตอนนี้มันก็ 9.0.597.84

Chrome บน OSX ของผมเป็น 9 ไปแล้วโดยที่ไม่รู้ตัวเลย แหะ ๆ
