Amazon ออกมาประกาศในวันนี้ว่าจะทำการเปิดตัว MP3 Store International ภายในปี 2008 นี้

สำหรับสาเหตุนั้น Amazon ได้ออกมาบอกว่าทางบริษัทได้รับอีเมลจากลูกค้ารอบโลกถามมาว่า เมื่อใด Amazon จะทำให้ลูกค้านอกสหรัฐซื้อเพลง MP3 ไร้ DRM ได้ ...​ และเราก็ตื่นเต้นที่จะออกมาบอกว่าเรายินดีที่จะประกาศเปิดบริการ MP3 Store International ในปีนี้

ขณะนี้ Amazon MP3 Store มีคอเลคชั่นเพลงไร้ DRM ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดบนอินเทอร์เน็ต และสามารถเล่นได้บนเครื่องเล่นดนตรีพกพาได้ทุกเครื่องอย่างไม่มีปัญหา
