เมื่อกูเกิลกลายเป็นคู่แข่ง: แอปเปิลอาจเปลี่ยนมาใช้ Bing

แม้ว่าเมื่อก่อนแอปเปิลกับกูเกิลเคยมีความสัมพันธ์อันหวานชื่น ถึงขนาด Eric Schmidt มานั่งเป็นบอร์ดบริหารของแอปเปิล แต่ภายหลังเมื่อธุรกิจเริ่มซ้อนทับกันเอง (โดยเฉพาะมือถือ) เราก็เริ่มเห็นความร้าวฉานของแอปเปิลกับกูเกิลออกมาเรื่อยๆ (ผมว่าไม่มีกรณีไหนเกิน Google Voice นะ)

เมื่อกูเกิลเริ่มปันใจ อาจถึงเวลาที่แอปเปิลจำต้องมีรักใหม่ เพียงแต่รักครั้งนี้อาจชื่อว่า "ไมโครซอฟท์"

นิตยสาร BusinessWeek อ้างแหล่งข่าววงในว่า แอปเปิลกับไมโครซอฟท์กำลังคุยกันอยู่ว่า iPhone อาจเปลี่ยน default search engine มาเป็น Bing แทน Google Search รายละเอียดอื่นๆ ตอนนี้ยังไม่มี แต่นักวิเคราะห์คาดว่า Safari บนแมคอาจเปลี่ยนมาใช้ Bing เช่นกัน และในระยะยาวก็เป็นไปได้ว่าแอปเปิลจะทำ search engine เอง

จำคำผมไว้ครับ "vertical integration" มาแน่นอน

คนส่วนใหญ่ไปทึกทักเอาเองว่า MS กับ Apple เป็นศัตรูกัน แรงสุดๆก็แค่ ผ.บ. ปากเสียแขวะกันไปมาเท่านั้น ตอน Apple ย่ำแย่ก็ได้ MS นี่แหละไปประคองเอาไว้ ไม่รู้ว่าตอนนี้ MS ยังมีหุ้นอยู่ใน Apple บ้างปล่าว ถ้ามีหมายความว่า Apple ได้ตัง MS ก็ได้ตังด้วย ได้ทั้งขึ้นทั้งล่อง Happy ไม่ใช่เล่น

มันเป็นกลยุทธ์ให้ผู้ใช้อัพเกรดรุ่น lol

เทียบได้กับที่ Snow Leopard ใช้ไม่ได้กับ PowerPC อะไรทำนองนั้น

จริงๆแล้วถ้าใช้กับเวอร์ชั่นเดียวกันก็ไม่มีปัญหาอะไรนะ (อาจจะมีเรื่องฟอนต์ แต่เราแนบไปกับไฟล์ได้นะ)

ปล.มันเป็นเหตุที่มาหลังผล ฮ่าๆ

Microsoft กับ Google ทับซ้อนกว่านี้ตั้งเยอะไม่เห็นบ่นเลย Chrome OS, Android, Google Doc, Google Desktop, Gmail อุๆ

หรือว่าหมดช่วง contract เลยมีการประกวดราคา Default Search Engine กันแน่

แต่ผมคิดว่า มันมีความเป็นไปได้นะครับ(ไม่มีอะไรดีเท่าทำเอง)

ส่วนตัว..ถ้ามันมีจริงๆ มันคงอารมณ์แบบ Search ในเว็บอ่ะครับ ที่พิมแล้วขึ้นผลลัพท์มาเลย ซึ่งถ้าทำได้แบบนั่นจริงๆ สงสัยจะสนุก

จริงๆ ส่วนของเว็บก็ทำเองหลายอย่างนะครับ

  • .Mac = Gmail
  • MobileMe = GDocs

ปลั๊กอิน search ของเบราว์เซอร์รุ่นก่อนนี้สักพัก (Firefox ช่วงแรกๆ) ใช้ Sherlock นั่นก็ฝีมือแอปเปิล

.Mac มันรีแบรนด์กลายเป็น MobileMe หมดแล้วครับ ถ้าให้เทียบ น่าจะเทียบเป็น MobileMe = Gmail + Gcal + Picasa มากกว่า ส่วน GDocs น่าจะเทียบกับ iWork.com แต่ทุกวันนี้ก็ไม่ตรงเท่าไหร่เพราะ iWork.com ใช้แค่ publish งานให้คนอื่นดูคนอื่น comment ได้มากกว่า

ข้อนึงที่ต่างกันสุดๆ คงเป็นว่า MobileMe ต้องเสียตังค์ในขณะที่ทางฟังกูเกิลฟรีโลดหมดน่ะแหละครับ

MS ก็มี windows mobile และ windows os

... ถ้า apple จะย้ายน่าจะไปหาค่ายอื่นมากกว่า อย่าง yahoo เป็นต้น (ถึงจะ powered by Bing ก็เถอะ)

Bing อาจจะดี

แต่สำหรับวันนี้ เทคนิคที่ผมใช้ค้นหาใน google มันก็ effective มากกว่าเยอะ (ชินมือกว่า)

แค่ลองหาด้วย MSE (MS Security Essential)

ใน Google ขึ้น www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ อันดับสอง ต่อจาก wiki

ใน Bing www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/ ไม่ขึ้นหน้าแรก ....

แอปเปิลจะแรงไปไหนเนี่ย มิตรดีๆ ก็กลายเป็นศัตรูไปซะงั้น จะว่าธุรกิจของ apple กับ microsoft ก็ทับซ้อนไม่แพ้ google เองอ่ะ

แถมเปลี่ยนมาใช้ bing ยังไงคนใช้ mac กับ iphone หลายๆ คนก็เปลี่ยนกลับเป็น google อยู่ดี ไม่มีอะไรมาแทนได้ล่ะตอนนี้

ถ้าเปลี่ยนมาใช้ bing จริงๆผมว่ามองได้ว่า Apple คิดว่า Google แข็งแกร่งเกินไปจนต้องไปเข้ากับฝั่งที่แข็งพอจะถ่วงดุลอำนาจไว้ได้

ผมว่าเค้าถามถึง "Vertical Integration" มากกว่านะ vertical integration หมายถึงการทำธุรกิจในเชิงลึกน่ะครับ (หมายถึงทำมันทุกอย่าง ทุกบริการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับธุรกิจที่เป็นแกน)

น่าจะแย้งซื้อ Yahoo! ตั้งแต่แรก เพราะมีส่วนแบ่งในโลกออนไลน์เป็นอันดับสอง แต่สายไปเสียแล้ว
แล้วถ้าไม่ใช่ Bing จะเป็นอะไรดี คงไม่ใช่ wolfram แน่ๆ เพราะรูปแบบการหามันต่างกัน
อีกกรณ๊ก็คงทำเอง แต่ก็ต้องเร่งความเร็วเพื่อให้ทันรอยฝุ่น

เปล่าครับ หมายถึงแอปเปิลแฟนบอยที่เป็นสาวกกูเกิล
น่าจะมีมากกว่าแอปเปิลแฟนบอยที่นับถือไมโครซอฟท์
คือแอปเปิลแฟนบอยที่ถล่มไมโครซอฟท์มาตลอดคงทำใจไม่ได้ และพวกเขาคงใช้กูเกิลเป็นสรณะ
ต้องรอดูว่าจะมีมากแค่ไหน
