จากข่าวเก่า ที่ Youtube ออกข้อความเตือนผู้ใช้ IE6, Digg จะเลิกสนับสนุน IE6 และ Mashable : ต้องเลิกใช้ IE6 เพื่อให้เว็บก้าวหน้าต่อไป มาวันนี้ Twitter ก็ออกข้อความเตือนผู้ใช้ IE6 ทางหน้าเว็บแล้วเช่นกัน

สำหรับใครที่ใช้ IE6 เมื่อล็อกอินเข้าสู่ Twitter ผ่านทางหน้าเว็บ จะมีข้อความเตือนอยู่ใต้ช่องพิมพ์ข้อความว่า

  • หลัง, ต้องเว้นวรรค ตามตัวอย่าง
  • ลิงก์ที่มาต้องเป็นลิงก์ไปยังเพจ ไม่ใช่เว็บ จะเป็นแหล่งข่าวอื่นๆ ก็ได้ไม่มีปัญหา

หามาให้ได้ครับ จะเป็นเว็บข่าวที่อื่นๆ ที่เล่นข่าวเรื่องนี้ก็ได้

ลองคิดดูว่าถ้าอีก 3 ปีข้างหน้า คนคลิกเข้ามาอ่านข่าวยังเห็นลิงก์ไปยังเว็บไซต์เดิม แต่หน้าเว็บเปลี่ยนไปแล้วสิครับ

Twitter took the tact of “if the user is using browser X, I will just prompt them to get the latest version”. If you are in IE 6, prompt for IE 8.

อันที่จริง Facebook ก็มีข้อความเตือนกรณีใช้ Internet Explorer 6 เปิดนะครับ โดยจะเตือนในหน้าแรก (Home)
