IPv4 เหลือต่ำกว่าพันล้านหมายเลขแล้ว

ด้วยความที่ IPv4 ที่เราใช้งานกันอยู่ทุกวันนี้นั้นมีความยาวเพียง 32 บิตทำให้หมายเลขไอพีที่ใช้งานได้มีเพียง 3.7 พันล้านหมายเลข และเมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมาทาง IANA ได้แจกจ่ายหมายเลขไอพีจำนวน 339 ล้านหมายเลขให้กับ Regional Internet Registries (ผู้จัดการหมายเลขไอพีตามภูมิภาคเช่น APNIC) ทำให้หมายเลขไอพีที่เหลืออยู่ในวันนี้ต่ำกว่าพันล้านเลขหมาย

ด้วยอัตราการใช้งานหมายเลขไอพีในระดับนี้ IPv4 กำลังจะหมดโลกไปภายในปี 2013 หรืออีกห้าปีข้างหน้า

ว่าแล้วผู้ดูแลเครือข่ายทั้งหลายก็ได้เวลาเตรียมการไปใช้ IPv6 กันจริงๆ แล้วล่ะครับ

แต่ดูๆ ไปมันก็ยังเหลือเยอะอยู่นะครับ ถ้าเทียบกับจำนวนทั้งหมดที่มันมีได้ (4,294,967,296 ตัดพวกที่ใช้งานไม่ได้ ก็น่าจะเหลือ 3 พันล้านกว่าๆ)

ส่วน IPv6 ยังไม่เห็นใช้งานกันจริงๆ ซะที เห็นพูดกันมาตั้งนานแล้วอ่ะ

IPv6 ยังสับสนอยู่และยากที่จะเรียนรู้ เพราะมันยาวส์สะใจมาก IPv8 เอาสักยี่สิบหลักเลยดีมั้ย น่าสนนะครับ(ประชด) ว่าไปแล้วเมื่อ 10 ปีก่อนยังเหลือเยอะอยู่เลย มาตอนนี้ จะหมดซะแล้ว คิดถึงโฆษณา Microsoft Windows 95 จัง

ประเทศมีตังก็เอา IPv6 ไปใช้ แล้วก็ปล่้อย IPv4 คืนให้ IANA สิคับ แล้ว IANA ก็เอาไปจัดสรรให้กับประเทศที่กำลังพัฒนา
ผมว่ามันน่าจะใช้ได้ไปอีกนานเลยนะ ประเทศกำลังพัฒนาก็ไม่ต้องเปลี่ยน Device ใหม่ด้วย

คิดว่ากรณีนี้ไำม่น่าจะมีปัญหาอะไร เพราะตัว bridge ระหว่าง IPv4 กับ IPv6 มันก็น่าจะมีอยู่แล้ว (ใช่มั๊ยหว่า ???)
