Broadcom เปิดตัวชิปไร้สายตัวใหม่สำหรับมือถือ รองรับ 802.11ac ในตัว

หลังจากเราเห็นเราเตอร์รุ่นใหม่ที่รองรับ 802.11ac กันมาพอสมควรแล้ว ล่าสุดทาง Broadcom ประกาศเปิดตัวชิปไร้สายรุ่นใหม่สำหรับสมาร์ทโฟน-แท็บเล็ตที่รองรับ 802.11ac แล้วเช่นกัน

ชิปรุ่นนี้ใช้เลขรุ่นว่า BCM4335 ของใหม่ที่สำคัญคือเพิ่ม 802.11ac (ซึ่ง Broadcom ใช้ชื่อทางการตลาดว่า 5G WiFI) ส่วนฟีเจอร์อื่นๆ คือปรับปรุงการส่งข้อมูลของ 802.11n ในโหมด 256-QAM ให้ส่งข้อมูลได้ดีขึ้น, ปรับปรุงการบริโภคพลังงาน, รองรับ Wi-Fi Direct, Miracast

นอกจาก Wi-Fi แล้วมันยังรวม Bluetooth 4.0, วิทยุ FM เข้ามาด้วย เราจะเห็นชิปตัวนี้เริ่มถูกใช้งานจริงช่วงต้นปี 2013 ครับ

ที่จริงเน็ตบ้านๆ ปัจจุบันยังวิ่งไม่ถึง 802.11n เลยง่ะ = =

802.11ac มันไม่ได้จำกัดแค่อินเทอร์เน็ตอย่างเดียวครับเป็นเรื่องของการส่งข้อมูลแบบไร้สายทั้งหมด ถ้าใช้แค่แชร์เนต b/g ก็เหลือๆ แล้ว

ไม่ได้สนใจเรื่องความเร็วอย่างเดียวครับ แต่ใช้เพื่อหนี 2.4GHz เพราะอย่านความถี่ 2.4GHz มันมีอุปกรณ์หลายตัวที่ใช้ทำให้มีการรบกวนของสัญญาณมาก

เคยอยากดูหนัง Blu-ray Full rip ผ่าน Wifi แบบไม่กระตุก ???
เคยอยากโอนถ่ายข้อมูลจาก NAS ให้ได้ความเร็วเสถียรๆพอๆกับการต่อ Lan ???
เคยอยาก...เยอะอ่ะ ???

ถ้ายังมองภาพไม่ออก คงบอกได้ว่าอารมณ์มันจะประมาณ Gigabit Lan แต่เป็น Gigabit Wifi แทน(ใช้คลื่นอีกย่านเพื่อให้ไม่มี noise ทำให้ได้ความเร็วสูงสุด)

notebook รุ่นใหม่ๆ กลัวว่าจะไม่ support กัน ผมอ่าน spec เดี่ยวนี้ใช้ การ์ด Wireless ใช้รุ่นๆ ล่างไม่เหมือนสมัยก่อนยุค Centrino ให้ตัวดีๆ ทั้งนั้นเลย
