Morphosis Apps is one of the only digital agencies focused exclusively in UX and UI design in Bangkok. We have been a pioneer in this field before UX design was even a thing in Thailand and we had a chance to work on some very interesting and challenging projects. As our company is growing and maturing we are now looking to expand our services to include front end development as this is one of the most requested service from our clients.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR...

In that effort to expand, we are now looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. You will work closely with the UI/UX designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

You will be working closely with designers to solve unique, interesting and challenging problems. You will have significant ownership and responsibility as you work on discovering new ways to make a big impact on our clients and on our business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device applications using CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript
• Maintaining and improving websites
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed
• Collaborating with back-end developers and UX/UI designers to improve usability
• Accepting feedback from, and building solutions for, users and customers
• Writing functional requirement documents and guides
• Creating quality mockups and prototypes
• Helping back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Perform QA on web-based projects and debug front-end code
• Be able to eagerly present ideas in a group setting
• Performing other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-5 years experience developing with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (we will consider fresh graduate as well)
• Familiarity with at least one JS Framework like AngularJS, React or others is ideal
• CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Knowledge of Git version control system
• Must be willing to wear multiple hats and adapt to the ever-changing digital market and needs of teams
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or Sketch
• Responsive and Adaptive web development
• Cross-browser testing (IE, FF, Safari, Chrome)
• Code validation
• Unit testing of code
• Code debugging with browser tools (Firebug, Chrome Developer Tools)

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience working with WordPress or Magento eCommerce platform on your local machine
• Experience with other OO based language PHP, Ruby on Rails, Java, etc, would be a plus
• Knowledge of version control, continuous integration methodologies
• Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS, LESS, Etc...
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON would be a plus
• Passion for user experience would be a plus
