Course Description
This course serves as an introduction to the interdisciplinary and emerging field of data science. The course will introduce the concept of Big Data Analysis and machine learning. Students will learn to combine tools and techniques from statistics, computer science, data visualization to solve problems using big data. The course covers Machine Learning Techniques encompassing the complete Data Science study. In addition, Machine Learning tools such as Spark MLlib, Azure ML and AWS Machine Learning will be covered in this course.

Who Should Attend
This course is designed for all those who need to understand how to apply data science to large datasets and want to learn machine learning techniques and wish to apply these techniques on Big Data. The course also included the of two powerful open source tools: 'Python' language, and ‘Mahout’ Hadoop software framework.

Prerequisite: familiarity with Hadoop and knowledge of Java (recommended not mandatory).
