System Administrator Trainee
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any field
No work experience is required
Extensive knowledge in Linux operating system (Good knowledge in OpenSuSE and Debian is a plus)
Basic knowledge in TCP/IP based computer networking
Basic knowledge in commercial 3D and composition package (e.g. Maya or Shake) is a plus
Python knowledge is a big plus
Good hands-on computer maintenance skill
Responsiblities
Perform maintenance tasks on Linux-based workstations and servers, few Windows-based workstations
Perform monitor calibration using colorimeter
Oversee in-house distributed computing network
Supervise in-house backup facility
Provide support to digital artists as needed
Participate in studio’s expansion decision
Python Programmer Trainee
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any field
No work experience is required
Basic knowledge in Linux operating system (TCSH knowledge is a plus)
Extensive knowledge in Python programming language (Good knowledge in following Pythonic frameworks is a plus yet not required: Django, PyGTK and Cheetah)
Basic SQL knowledge (Extensive knowledge in MySQL is a plus)
Knowledge in ffmpeg media encoder is a big plus
Responsibilities
In charge of developing in-house applications such as distributed computing and data management frameworks
Provide scripting assistant to digital artists
Participate in studio’s production pipeline construction
Oversee studio’s media conversion/ingestion process
Candidates must meet following qualifications
Trustworthy, friendly and good team player
Humble, industrious and willing to learn new things
Very good command in English (Proof of competant TOEIC, TOEFL or IELTS result can distinguish your application, yet not required)
Successful candidates will undergo intensive training course conducted by the studio. Post training assignment and evaluation will determine the permanent placement of the candidates.
Studio is located in Pattanakarn area. It usually provides flexible working hours with snacks and pops on premise. Dinner is occasionally provided.
