Google Play Services ออกรุ่นใหม่ 4.0 พร้อมรับ Android KitKat

นอกจาก Android 4.4 KitKat กูเกิลก็ออก "ฝาแฝดเงา" Google Play Services รุ่นใหม่ด้วยเช่นกัน นับเวอร์ชันเป็น 4.0 แล้ว

  • การเปลี่ยนแปลงที่สำคัญของ Google Play Services รุ่นนี้คือหยุดรองรับ Android 2.2 Froyo แล้ว โดยกูเกิลบอกว่า Google Play Services รุ่นนี้ใช้ได้กับอุปกรณ์ 97% ของอุปกรณ์ทั้งหมดในตลาด (เป็น 2.3 ขึ้นไป)
  • ผนวก Google Mobile Ads SDK เข้ามาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ Google Play Services ทำให้แพลตฟอร์มโฆษณาบนมือถือของกูเกิล (AdMob) ได้รับการอัพเดตอัตโนมัติตาม Google Play Services และตัวโฆษณาสามารถเรียกใช้ฟีเจอร์ของ Google Play Services อย่าง location, wallet ได้ด้วย
  • ปรับปรุง Maps และ Geofencing API (ข่าวเก่า) ในแง่ความเร็วของการตอบสนองและอัตราการใช้พลังงาน
  • ปรับปรุงการล็อกอินเข้าแอพด้วย Google+ และปรับปรุงการจ่ายเงินด้วย Google Wallet Instant Buy API

Google Play Services 4.0 จะค่อยๆ อัพเดตให้ผู้ใช้ Android ทั่วโลก ส่วนนักพัฒนาที่สนใจเรียกใช้งานก็ทดสอบกับ SDK ตัวใหม่ได้เลย

เห็นคุณ MK ก็ลองอัพด้วยนะครับ ทำคู่มือให้เบ็ดเสร็จ เห็นว่ามี HTC Sence ด้วย ดูตัวอย่าง

นับถือ นับถือ ใช้มือถือได้อย่างคุ้มค่ามากเลยครับ ไม่ตามกระแสที่ต้องใช้ของใหม่ ๆ

(ทำเสียงใหญ่ๆ ใส่เอ็คโค่หน่อย) งั้นสูเจ้าจงต้องเลือกแล้ว

  • ไม่ต้องทำอะไร ก็ไม่ต้องเสียเงิน แต่อาจจะอัพเกรดแอพใหม่ๆ ที่อิงกับ Google Play Services รุ่นนี้ไม่ได้
  • ไม่เสียเงิน แต่ต้องปรับตัว ก็ย้ายมาใช้ CM 7.2 ซะ หรือไม่ก็ไปหา launcher มาครอบ
  • ได้เวลาซื้อ HTC เครื่องใหม่ มือสอง ก็ได้

T_T เสียใจครับ ยังใช้ 2.2 อยู่เลย เหมือนโดนบังคับให้ต้องเปลี่ยนโทรศัพท์ เพิ่งใช้มา 5 ปีเองง่า
