ก่อนหน้านี้เราอ่านหนังสือชีวประวัติของ Steve Jobs ไปแล้ว วันนี้หนังสือเกี่ยวกับซีอีโอแอปเปิลกำลังจะออกมาอีกเล่มในชื่อ "Tim Cook: The Genius Who Took Apple to the Next Level” เขียนโดย Leander Kahney จากมุมมองของอดีตพนักงานแอปเปิล

เรื่องราวของหนังสือเล่มนี้อาจไม่เกี่ยวกับประวัติของซีอีโอแอปเปิลมากนัก แต่จะเล่าเรื่องการต่อยอดความสำเร็จของแอปเปิลจากยุคของ Steve Jobs ที่ทิ้งความท้าทายเอาไว้หลังการเสียชีวิตของเจ้าตัว โดยเล่มนี้พูดถึงช่วงที่ Tim Cook ต้องต่อสู้ทางกฎหมายกับ FBI, กระทรวงยุติธรรมและคำสั่งศาล ที่สั่งให้แอปเปิลทำรอมพิเศษ สำหรับข้ามระบบความปลอดภัยบนอุปกรณ์ iOS ด้วย

น่าสนใจมาก เรื่องอื่นอาจไม่เด่น แต่เรื่อง Supply chain และการตั้งราคา เขามือระดับเทพเลยล่ะ หามือเปรียบเทียบยากในวงการไอทีในเรื่องนี้

ผมว่าเป็นคนละมุม คนละยุค คือยุคที่สองก็แบบนี้แหละครับ ยุคดูแลและการจัดการ ยุคถัดไปควรจะหาคนทำนวัตกรรมแบบ สัตยา CEO ของ Microsoft
