Software / Web Engineer

We’re looking for a software/web engineer to join our local team in Bangkok to build up the B2B/B2C platform for mekaaa.com. We have an established business in Indonesia and we are scaling up our operation in Thailand to grow our regional presence. You will be working directly with the local team in Thailand and the CTO to rollout a product that can make a significant impact to used phone market in Thailand. You will be working on improving Mekaaa.com price index and developing the B2B and B2C web store.

Our vision is to be the Largest Recommerce Company in Thailand by helping the Emerging Middle Class upgrade their lives and homes at Affordable Prices. Our goal for mekaaa.com is to be the top of mind online site when buyer or seller need to check the most accurate second-hand mobile phone price.

Mekha ( Mekaaa.com ) is a project by Rebonics Pte Ltd from Singapore (Golden Gates Venture portfolio company).

Responsibilities

Interact with different stakeholders to gather/provide feedback and clarification

Mobile Web application development

Mobile application development

Software application development

Deploy and Manage Linux Servers

Prototyping and testing of web applications based on system specification and requirement

Requirements

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, Elastic Search, Javascript, Java, Ruby On Rails, Google Cloud Platform

Experience in PHP frameworks such as Symfony2.

Familiar with version control such as Git

Ability to write clean and well-structured code

Practices object-oriented programming

Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work towards deadlines

Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Eager to learn and strive for excellence
