แต่ละปี ก่อนงาน MacWorld นั้น แอปเปิลมักจะปล่อย Teaser ออกมาก่อน โดยส่วนใหญ่แล้วจะอยู่บนหน้าแรกของเว็บ และตามป้ายต่าง ๆ ในตัวงาน MacWorld เอง
ในปีนี้ แอปเปิลไม่ได้ปล่อย Teaser หรือเปิดให้เห็นป้ายต่าง ๆ ในงานแต่อย่างใด เว้นไว้แค่เพียงป้ายหลาย ๆ จุด ที่มีผ้าคลุมสีขาวปิดเอาไว้
ส่วนทางผู้จัดงานเอง (ไม่ใช่แอปเปิล) ได้ติดป้ายตามจุดต่าง ๆ ของเมือง และได้เขียนไว้ว่า "Even the small talk will be big"
เมื่อปีที่แล้ว แอปเปิลได้ใช้เวทีนี้ในการเปิดตัว MacBook Air โดยได้ปล่อย Teaser ออกมาว่า "There's something in the Air"

ผมเข้าใจว่าไอ้ small talk ที่ลือกันมาก่อนหน้านี้เป็นเรื่องของปีหน้ารึเปล่า (ที่ให้ผู้ชม discuss กันเองว่าปีต่อไปจะเอายังไง)

ถ้าเปลี่ยนเป็น “Macworld (คำเฉพาะ) ปีนี้มาแปลก แอปเปิลไม่ติดตั้งป้ายโปรยอะไรเลย” น่าจะถูกกว่านะ (แต่ก็ยังไม่รู้อยู่ดีกว่าป้ายนั้นมันของใคร)

I have a chance to come to Macworld expo in San Francisco this year. The hotel I rest is 11 minutes walk to the convention center. Today(Friday), there's still nothing progress inside. The advertisement of the expo is not all around the town, just around the event's area. But there's lot of ads of nano-chromatic ads. San Francisco is quite scary at night even walking with my host parents. I started live tweet on my twitter, the name is the same as blognone's username.
